Is there a Hardcover available as an add-on for The Sound of Water?
At this time no. BUT, I’ve been asked by a few people already, so I am considering it. There are two major factors that limit our ability to produce a hardback for The Sound of Water. 1. Length. The book needs to be long enough to justify a hardback, and due to the nature of Kickstarter I don’t know how long the final book will be. 2. Cost of printing Hardbacks. If enough people wanted one and the book was long enough then I might be able to offer a hardback as an add-on. It’d be substantially more expensive than the softback. But we’ll see. Is World of Dew an Expansion, a Supplement, a Complete Game, or WHAT to Blood & Honor?
The short answer is YES, it’s a Complete Game. The Long Answer is: It’s all those things. You can pick up the book by itself and play just A World of Dew. But, and this is an awesome but, A World of Dew is completely compatible with Blood & Honor. You can play both together. Your party can be characters with abilities from both book, or all from Blood & Honor and one A World of Dew character, or vice versa. It works because I built A World of Dew to be fully compatible. I’ve used this analogy before, A World of Dew and Blood & Honor work in the same way like the World of Darkness games work. You can play just Vampire, or just Changeling, or you could be playing Changeling one night and the next thing you know someone is knocking on your door and it’s a bunch of Vampire characters who are now playing in your game. It works because the system(s) were designed to work together. If you want more of the history about how A World of Dew came to be grab a drink (or a soda) at a Con and ask me about it. if I Order the Sound of Water Softback print will I have to wait to get all my books?
No. When the printing for A Word of Dew is done I will be shipping that and any other rewards you got for your Tier. I set the Sound of Water to be written later and separately so it wouldn’t interfere with A World of Dew being printed on time. The PDF, I hope, will be done in late Fall some time. How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
